What do you get when you combine LTD 7’s owner and LTD 7’s manager, Valentine’s Day weekend and a very early 1,036 sky miles?

Well, I’ll tell you-you get…

Wait for it…

WAIT.

I think I heard somewhere that “What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.” Maybe I shouldn’t share?

You must’ve known that I’m going to share. I just love sharing on these LTD 7 blogs.

So here is what you get when Lynne and Lissa take a before dawn road trip and flight to Vegas…You get:

And you get:

And of course you get:

Lissa and I got to Vegas at a decent hour of the morning (that we had already had, thanks to the Pacific Coast time change). We jumped on a shuttle, and checked into New York, New York hotel. We had the whole day ahead of us!

Lissa had never been to Vegas, so it was with that in mind that we toured the sights and sounds of the city. Every hotel it seems is a different microcosm of a world into itself and I wanted her to experience that.

She was, as I expected, blown away at the people and the over the top glitz and craziness! (we won’t show you the bottom half of the picture)

Nicknamed the Entertainment Capitol of the World, there was (literally) everything to see. We walked and we walked and we walked some more. There were four Markets and we shopped for LTD 7 and then we walked and shopped some more, taking lots of photographs along the way. Notice the complete lack of boots and jackets! We were WARM and it was SUNNY!

After awhile out feet could barely hold us up, so we headed back to the hotel to freshen up for a NIGHT in VEGAS! We thought we might change clothes, have a great dinner, and maybe catch a show. Shoot, just walking the streets and looking at people was a show in and of itself.

So, should I tell you what we did? Do you really wanna know? I’m breaking the rules here, guys, to share our night with you!

Here it is…don’t tell anyone!
WE SLEPT. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Yes. You read that right!
The two wandering minstrels, Thelma and Louise, NODDED off, fully clothed at 9 pm, on top of our hotel room beds and we didn’t wake up until the next day! Talk about “living the dream…” we literally fell asleep and dreamed about Vegas…while we were in Vegas!

We had a lot of explaining to do! How can two go-getters from LTD 7 in Virginia, head to Vegas and sleep the night away? We were obviously soooo tired! But we had a lot of time to make up!

The next day was a whole different story! We donned our Thelma and Louise personas and hit the streets after the most expensive croissant and cuppa coffee I have ever had. Put it this way, I could’ve bought the coffee pot and the pound of coffee for the price we paid! I won’t even tell you what our lunch cost. Man-oh-man, this place is pricey! Lucky for us, we made it to In and Out, a famous landmark and ate to our heart’s content for a reasonable price!

Here are a few more pictures of our days! And a “select” few from our nights. You know-what happens in Vegas…

Isn’t this beautiful? This was at The Venetian

He definitely caught me taking his picture! Mr “T”

We wanna be just like these two swinging women when we grow up! Check out their walkers! Love it!

We had a midnight flight out on the fourth night, but with news of the winter storm back home, we thought we might get stranded so we booked another night at the hotel. We watched the weather reports and checked the airlines and walked and shopped for LTD 7 the entire day. Some of you have been on our FB sales and in the store and have been hearing about all we were able to find for spring. It’s going to be a banner third year at LTD 7!

Vegas was SO much fun! I loved showing Lissa around and having her input and ideas for LTD 7. We made memories I wouldn’t trade for all the winnings in the world! I’m even thinking of making Vegas an annual trip for us. Maybe next time we can stay awake!

Living the Dream,

Thelma and Louise
