Where do you do your best thinking? Is it in the car on the way to Church? Is it while you exercise? Do you think best in the shower? For me, personally, I do some of my best thinking when I turn the music on and craft. I bet some of you can agree with me.
I have springtime on my mind. I have Grandma’s Bait and the store opening on my mind. I have weddings and baby showers and LTD 7 (1) and (2) on the ‘ole melon, too! I could make a few crafts with that agenda, lemme tell ya!
I did honestly run across a lovely craft this week that I thought I would share with you. We have all made these a time or two in our lives, I would bet, but things have gotten crazy spectacular over the last decade in what can be created.
I am talking about tissue paper flowers. I did an Internet search the other night and came
up with bundles of ideas, just perfect for almost any occasion. Let me show you what I mean!
First of all, there is Easter. How about some flowers to customize your baskets?
Many of you have up and coming bridal showers and weddings to attend this spring. How about dressing up the tables and displays for these special occasions?
What about the Bride’s rehearsal bouquet? Can you volunteer to make it?
I might place tissue paper flowers on some of my gifts with something along these lines.
And these themes are beautiful, too!
And then we have the babies. I am truly enjoying some of these trends for baby showers. It is so wonderful to think that tissue flowers can be used for party favors, gifts for the mom-to-be, the table arrangement and the decor, right down to the napkin holders!
And can’t you just imagine a backdrop like this for the newborn? Of course, done in blue if it is a boy!
The ideas and color combinations are absolutely endless! The cost is minimal, as tissue paper can be had for about a $1.00 a pack. Pipe stems are sold in large bundles. I invite you to scour the Internet for ideas of your own and try your hand at tissue paper flowers .
Use your scrapbooking supplies!
How about some creativity with those pipe stems?
And, finally, ask the children to help! You might be amazed at what they come up with!
Have a flowery kind of week, everyone! Think Spring!
