This week absolutely F.L.E.W. by! I can’t even remember Monday, much less Tuesday. Wednesday was a sun up to sun down kind of day and Thursday came and went before I knew it. Friday was lightning fast and Saturday was a marathon of epic proportions.
Does this ever happen to you: You wake up Monday morning and the next thing you know, it is Sunday morning and the whole darn week has passed you by?
What do you do to recover?
The bad news is we get caught up in weeks like this-when time flies-but the good news is we are the pilot of all this flying about with our hair cut off.
You know what that means, don’t you? Being the pilot means we can decide what to do about the madness and pace of our days. We can coast awhile, or land the plane. We can decide to hand the reins over to a copilot and sit a spell, or we can keep on keepin’ on at the same pace through the next week.
It’s all up to us!
The only thing we have to do is fly the plane.
Flying the plane is a simple rule when you break it down.
First Love Yourself. It’s like when you are on an airplane and the stewardess says to make sure to put your oxygen mask on first, and then tend to the others. That is the surefire way to make sure you are in the best position to meet the oncoming week ahead: Take Care of Yourself. First.
The rest will fall into place.
And while we are at it, give yourself a big ‘ole hug from me and congratulate yourself on doing as much as you do, loving with arms wide open and juggling all the plates on a stick that you can! You and me, we have come a long way, baby!
