Red, White and Fun!

I will start at the beginning of my story for those of you who do not follow LTD 7 and Grandma’s Bait on Facebook. For the last few weeks we have been holding a contest at Grandma’s Bait for Mr. and Miss Photogenic. Last week the “skittles votes” were tallied and on Saturday, we crowned the winners!

The two lucky children,Richard and Aubree will each get an amazing complimentary outfit from Grandma’s Bait to wear in Staunton’s annual 4th of July Parade, where They will ride in the parade  Grandma’s Bait and the other children entered in the contest will walk in the parade.

The 4th of July Parade will be held on Monday, July 4th, Gypsy Hill Park, Staunton beginning at 10:00 am ! All three of our stores will be closed so families can enjoy America’s Celebration all weekend.

We sure do hope each and every one of you will come on down and enjoy the festivities.

On a different note, I was out of town last week for a little work, a little R&R and a little meet up with the hubby in Florida. While I was away, another exciting event was taking place right in my very own backyard…okay…not exactly in my backyard, but very close to it. All week long I have been given clues from LTD 7’s Dream Team, in particular, Anne & Renae about this secret, project. I have shared the clues on Facebook each day. Many of our customers and friends have expressed ideas about what is happening, but none of us really know all the details.

Here are the clues, so far:

If you are guessing a “Move that Bus!” scenario, you are correct! My team of talented women and a few of the Men from My brother’s company have been hard at work on a project near and dear to my heart.  What many of you may not realize is This is MY house! We moved into this newly built house, built by my brother, a couple months ago but had downsized and got rid of most of our furniture, plus we have been living in rentals for the past 6 years.  We have not seen our personal pictures or hung anything on walls for all these years. We literally have been moving stuff out of storage and slowly unpacking items.  I have been slowly collecting pieces from LTD 7. I wanted a new look in this house, more of a Boho cottage look to reflect our love for Florida, the beach and happy fun colors. I honestly gave them a white palette and small budget to work with, that’s it!   I have no idea what to expect other than an awesome LTD 7 design house done by two very talented and gifted decorators. I have full trust in them and their work.

The big reveal is scheduled for June 29th and I could not be more excited! Stay tuned to Facebook for the latest breaking news and all the yummy details.
